Original Degree Certificate

Those who have successfully completed the course of study can apply for the  Original Degree Certificate.

ONLINE MODE - Candidates with alphanumerical register number shall submit the application  online on Student Portal. Link: https://student.uoc.ac.in/

Instruction to follow while submitting application and the details of fee to be remitted are also furnished there. Those who submit their online application  from 01.08.2023 need not to forward the Printout of the application to Pareekha Bhavan.

The application can be submitted either by ordinary mode or by urgent mode.



OFFLINE MODE -  The Candidates with the numerical register numbers can apply offline.  The application form  can be downloaded from the University website. 

  1. Pay the required fee using  online payment  system under the purpose code ORF11- Original Degree Certificate-Additional Fee /Numerical Reg.No.. The payment can be made through SBI Net banking/ Akshaya Centres/ Friends Janaseva Kendra/ University Challan Counter.)
  2. Attach original challan receipt along with the application.
  3. Attach the self attested photo copies of the following documents,
  • First page of SSLC book (incase of UG Candidates)
  • Qualifying Examination Certificate. 
  • All mark lists/ Consolidated Grade Card
  • Provisional Certificate.
  • Compulsory Social Service (CSS) Certificate (See attachments on the top  right-hand side) 

Duly filled in application along with enclosures shall be sent to :

FAST TRACK MODE -

1. The candidates who are in urgent need of Original Degree Certificate  have the provision to apply on Fast Track Mode. The online application already submitted on urgent mode can  be  converted to  Fast Track mode.

2. Fast Track mode is applicable for candidates with alpha numerical register numbers only. The purpose shall be  substantiated by the documentary evidence. 

3The applicant shall  approach the branch head  in person with the print out of the already submitted application. Once the exigency is convinced,  the candidate will be directed to remit the additional fee(Fee under Fast Track mode is Rs-3200/-) . The application along with the additional challan receipt shall be submitted before the Branch Officers directly.

Fee details 

The fee for obtaining Original Degree Certificates of various Programmes are as follows:

a. Certificate/ Diploma/ P.G. Diploma : ₹200/- + ₹50/- (postal charge)

b. U.G Programme(Non-Professional ) ₹270/- + ₹50/- (postal charge)

b. U.G Programme (Professional) : ₹330/- + ₹50/- (postal charge)
c. Post Graduate Programme/ Integrated PG Programme (Non-professional) : ₹395/- + ₹50/- (postal charge)
d. P.G Programme (Professional) including M.Phil and P.G. Diploma in Medicine : ₹460/- + ₹50/- (postal charge)
e. P.G Programme after second improvement : ₹775/- + ₹50/- (postal charge)

3. Special fee for obtaining Original Degree Certificate urgently: ₹520/- (in addition to the normal fee &  postage).

Candidates who have once applied for the original degree certificate remitting the normal fee & postage can at a later date convert it to an urgent one by paying the special fee of ₹520/- in addition to the  normal fee & postage.

Service charge for re-issuance of undelivered Degree Certificate

a. Request received within five years from the date of preparation of Degree Certificate

Fast Track Mode

POINTS TO BE NOTED :

  1. TTThe candidate shall ensure that the mobile number and e-mail id provided in the application form are valid. The communication from the University will be sent  via SMS or email.
  2. The address to which the certificate is to be forwarded shall clearly be mentioned with district and PIN Code as the certificates are despatched via Speed Post Only
  3. Candidates shall ensure that they have no pending Exam results or revaluation results and the  grade cards have been revised consequent on the 'improvement exam' or 're-valuation', if any , made during the course of study.)
  4. Before proceeding with the application for Original Degree Certificate, shall make sure that the Name (including the difference in space, coma, dots etc.)  given on Grade Card and Provisional Certificate are same as that is given on the Plus Two/HSE Certificate.
