Name correction is the process of changing a student's name in the official records of the university for rectifying the inconsistency of name.

Affiliated Colleges

During the period of study, students of affiliated colleges shall forward the application through the principal of the college.

Students who have completed their study programme shall submit the application in the university directly.

CDOE

 Upto 5th Semester, the students registered under CDOE shall  submit the application at CDOE section itself . 

Students who have registered for the 6th-semester examination under CDOE(Center for Distance and Online Education)  shall submit their applications to the branch concerned at Pareeksha Bhavan.

 Documents to be submitted along with the application for correction of name errors:

(a) UG – Certified copy of the 10th grade certificate, certified copy of the Plus Two or other qualification certificates, the original university documents to be corrected, and the challan receipt for the prescribed fee paid.

(b) PG – Certified copy of the 10th grade certificate, certified copy of the Plus Two certificate, certified copy of the qualifying degree certificate, the original university documents to be corrected, and the challan receipt for the prescribed fee paid.

 Fee for name correction in the Grade Cards, Mark lists and Degree Certificates (for each document of all programmes), irrespective of the year of registration and the circumstances which necessitated the correction(*Subject to a maximum of ₹5000/-).

(Application  fee @ Rs 55/- shall be included)

i. Within one year of issuance of Grade card/ Mark list/ Degree Certificate : ₹155/- 
ii. After one year and up to 3 years of issuance of Grade card/ Mark list/ Degree Certificate : ₹350/-
iii. After 3 years and up to 10 years of issuance of Grade card/ Mark list/ Degree Certificate : ₹685/-
iv. After 10 years of issuance of Grade card/ Mark list/ Degree certificate : ₹1355/-

 Fee for name correction in Online Registration: ₹155/-

 Fee for revised Degree Certificate / Mark List/ Grade Card to the students whose names have been changed in the qualifying Certificates after the Gazette Notification : Name correction fee + Fee for Original Degree Certificate / Mark List / Grade Card
